THE New England Patriots replied one of the greatest mysteries of their offensive line by Sign the veteran center Garrett Bradbury Tuesday.
This is a decision that came less than a week after the team’s shocking decision to leave the longtime center David Andrews. There were other options for the team, especially by moving Cole Strange to the center, starting Ben Brown for another year or by reducing a young player to take the reins to the post.
However, the Patriots followed the path of veterans of the signing of Bradbury, a former first round choice in the draft of the 2019 NFL. Did they make the right movement?

The patriots adding Bradbury to the mixture are an obvious upgrade on what they would have had if they entered the season as currently built. They had to fill the central position after relaxing Andrews, and they managed to do it with a veteran starter.
It’s a victory, no matter how you cut it.
But that’s not all the sun and the rainbow with Bradbury. If that were the case, the Vikings du Minnesota would have worked towards an extension instead of running for the door when his contract was in place.
The veteran offensive line player ranked among the worst blocks of the league at his post last season. The protection of the quarter-back was a major problem for the patriots before the offseason, and they did not do much to solve this problem with this signature.
That said, it was their best option if they moved away from Andrews. Strange does not have many representatives in the center, and Brown was too incoherent to count as a starter.
Bradbury was solid in the race last season since he ranked 14th in 64 centers with a 70.7 Professional football focus. Perhaps he can improve the elements of his game in New England with Doug Brown as a new offensive line coach.
And who knows? Perhaps the offensive sorcerer himself, Dante Scarnecchia will also pay him a visit.
