Houston’s Texans are a team to watch for a business day trade. The managing director Nick Caserio and the Texans have been aggressive to exchange a player who has been interested in recent years.
In the draft of the NFL 2023, the Texans held the second overall choice and wrote the quarter-Arrière CJ Stroud. However, Houston also wanted to add a defensive cornerstone. Caserio was aggressive, exchanging the choices of the 12th and 33rd in total as well as their choices of first and third round in 2024 for the third and 105th choice in total.
With the third choice, the Texans selected Edge Rusher Will Anderson Jr. The selections of Stroud and Anderson Jr. helped to run the franchise, leading to consecutive appearances of the divisional turn.
In the draft of NFL 2024, Caserio also exchanged for a player, but he came in the third round. Houston exchanged the 86th and 123rd choice in total to the Eagles of Philadelphia for the 78th choice in total, which they used to write Caden Bullock.
Houston also negotiated in the recovery of 2024. They sent the 23rd choice in total and a choice of seventh round to the Vikings du Minnesota for the 42nd choice in total, a choice of 2025 and a choice of sixth round in 2025.
The Texans could go up in the first round if they feel an offensive plateau or a wide receiver that they would appreciate the board by the 25th choice in total.
Caserio made 18 recovery trades during his time as director general of the Texans, and it would not be surprising to see him exchange again.
