Ozzy Trapilo spent a decade with two letters to come at the start of the football team for which he played.
But the next team that the Boston College’s product, which has also played British Columbia, is associated with not starting with the manner.
It’s more than good for Trapilo because his next stop is the NFL. It is considered one of the best prospects for offensive plates of this year’s draft, which begins Thursday, and the native of Norwell, in the Mass.
“I am ready for change,” Tracilo told Nesn.com. “It has always been my dream. So the simple fact of being able to do it will be great. It will be a bit strange, however, having spent most of my life with British Columbia in front of the logo on my football jersey.”
Trapilo will get an answer as soon as the uniform it will put on for the coming years. Many experts in the NFL draft predict that Trapilo is a choice of day 2 – a second or a third round – and it is easy to see why the teams of the Covet Trapilo League.

Trapilo looks like the game may be better than any other prospect. It amounts to 6 feet 8 inch and 316 pounds, giving the selection of the first All-ECC 2024 team the ideal size to accompany a formidable athletics to excel at the following level in the position of very important attacker.
This is certainly an area to which the patriots must respond, and the editorial staff of Will Campbell de LSU, fourth, may not be entirely sufficient for the needs of New England in this position. Trapilo is on the patriots’ radar, having met him informally several times.
Trapilo, with his British Columbia teammate, Drew Kendall, who could also find himself on the Patriots, also participated in the local professional day of the organization when she welcomed prospects in the region earlier this month.
“It was good. Was able to meet many staff people,” said Trapilo about the local professional day. “Many of them that I had already met throughout the process – Senior Bowl, combine, Pro Day. It was quick. It was more informal because I had already encountered a lot.”

Interactions with the Patriots gave Trapilo the opportunity to meet Mike Trébel. And that only cement Trapilo’s feelings about the new Patriots head coach after having somewhat known him before.
“He’s a great guy, super coach,” said Trapilo. “I learned that his son was playing in British Columbia played with him for two years, so there was already a little connection there. … I think he will do good for the program there.”
British Columbia Bill O’Brien’s head coach, who has a close relationship with Trobel, certainly considers Trapilo as a good adjustment for the Patriots. Trapilo has played on the two points of attacker at the university and started 24 games on the right side of the line in the last two seasons. Pro Football Focus gave him a block note of 81.0 and 74.1 offensive notes for his solid campaign 2024.
The versatility of Trapilo would suit the patriots well, as well as the daily trapilo spirit exhibitions.

“Ozzy is the kind of guy who is the same guy every day”, ” O’Brien told journalists After the professional day of the BC last month, by NBC Sports, Phil Perry de Boston. “Never lack training. Very hard, very talented, very intelligent – he has a mastery of the Boston College. He will be excellent in the locker room. He will do whatever the coach will ask him to do: he will play the right tackle, he will play the left tackle, he will play guard if you want.
“And I think it’s some of the things I think Mike is probably looking for. I’m not saying to Mike who writing, but I don’t think he can be wrong with Ozzy Trapilo. Ozzy Trapilo will be a big pro.”
Playing for the Patriots would keep Trapilo near his home. He tries not to think about it, rather focusing on the opportunity as a whole which is in front of him.
But he is asked about the possibility of putting a uniform of the patriots so much that he has his response to a science at this stage.

“My common answer is that my dream is to play in the NFL. He who wants me, I would be more than happy to do it,” said Trapilo. “I don’t know if I really have a specific style of play that corresponds better to certain teams and not to others. I think I am a fairly versatile player, so I would say that I integrate into a lot of offenses, which is good.”
The predraft process at this stage is almost all wrapped for Trapilo. Now he’s just waiting, which could be the most difficult part of all this.
But at the other end, it will be an achievement that has completed his thoughts for years, and it is no matter if the project call comes from the patriots or from one of the 31 other teams in the League.
“It was long to come,” said Trapilo. “It has been my dream for as long as I remember. So the fact that it is a few days now is crazy. I don’t think it’s really completely sunk. I imagine it will not be before I received the phone call.”
