Sanders was made with the ninth choice of the second round and the 41st global selection by the Buffalo Bills. He headed northeast after an exceptional career in South Carolina where he has become a force on the defensive line.
The former show of Marion High School spent four seasons in the Carolina program. After the Redshirt in 2021, Sanders would play in 37 games, starting seven games in 2023 and nine for his 2024 junior junior season, which was highlighted by him winning the second all-secret team of the Associated Press. Sanders finished fifth on the team and led the defensive line player with 50 plated, including 7.0 plated for loss and 4.0 bags.
