Lance Zierlein de NFL.com projected Batty as the prospect of sixth or seventh round, but noted important gaps in the defensive game as part of his screening report.

“He is densely muscular and plays with a constant assault to the point. He also jostles,” Zierlein wrote. “He has an instantaneous in his initial punch but does not have the length and speed of the speed to quickly move away from the blocks and will succumb to the electricity of the plasters.
