The Buffalo Bills, for the most part, had a solid draft class with the defense of Sean McDermott attracting attention with the first five choices of the franchise as defensive players.
Offensively, Jackson Hawes, Chase Lundt and Kaden Prather were selected to add depth to a unit that was one of the best in football last season.

No stud receiver has happened, as some people thought / wanted, and in the case of Hawes, its selection is the one seen towards the future of the tight final position.
However, for CBS Sports, his selection in the fifth round was described as “worse” for the Bills.
“Hawes was the last choice of the fifth round bills, but does not respond to Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox on the painting of depths,” CBS Sports written. “Georgia Tech’s product has not implemented eye reception numbers and should be considered mainly as a tight end blocking for the moment.”

The biggest trait of Hawes is his blockage, and when writing, the Bills probably knew that, given his statistics last season for Georgia Tech, he was not going to be a big pass sensor anyway, at least at the start.

With the future of Dawson Knox beyond 2025 disorders, invoices having an outing in his contract after this season, the move for Hawes could see him take over from Dalton Kincaid.
Probably playing a big role in the racing game, Hawes’ love to put the defenders in dirt is well known, and it is proud to do it too.
But the “worst choice” is purely subjective, and in the case of Hawes, it now has the material of the babblets to ensure that his recruit season has gone to give these skeptics a beautiful slice of humble pie.
