If the Indianapolis colts Will always add to their list via an addition as a free agent, who should they bring?
Professional football network Recently highlighted a free agent available that each NFL team should sign. For FoalPFN chose the second Ja’whaun Bentley.

Bentley was a fifth round choice in the 2018 NFL draft by New England, where he had spent his entire career so far. His 2024 season was limited to only two games due to a torn pectoral muscle, but during the two seasons before, he had played more than 900 defensive snaps each year.
During his career, Bentley was a sound plate and found some success as a blitzer. On the cover during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, he granted a completion rate of 78% to 9.4 yards per capture with an interception and three shortcomings, by PFF. Bentley also has a special team experience.
“Ja’whaun Bentley is delivered with a large initial experience of his seven seasons with the PatriotsAnd he will still only be 29 years old in August, “wrote Pfn.” Bentley would not even necessarily represent a possible starter on Carlies. Instead, the colts could alleviate Carlies in the mixture by allowing the old college safety to play more on the passes, while allowing the beating bentley to play more shots early next to Franklin. “”
I like the line of thought here from PFN. The colts clearly think of Jaylon Carlies, so this addition would not be that intended to hinder the step next to Zaire Franklin. However, Bentley offers depth and experience in a group of positions where these two things are missing for the colts.

From the point of view of the salary hat, it is not an addition that will break the bank by all means, and as we have detailed recently, the colts are currently in a good situation.
Now, if I made this choice, I would choose to add to the offensive line on the second – although both are positions to which could be added. I recently highlighted three free agent care options for the colts and why contact this unit is always a great need.
