The offensive line player Emery Jones, Jr. received a call from the director general of Baltimore Ravens, Eric Decosta, in the third round of the NFL draft last week. Decosta told him that he was going to be a member of the Ravens.
Jones told Decosta that he was delighted to be drafted and that he was ready to go to work. He also shared with him how excited he was to block for the Lamar Jackson star quarter.

“It would be an honor. I will put everything into play for him,” said Jones.
Jones was a three -year starter at LSU and was to be written above.
Decosta said Jones had made him an impression during the pre-trafic process and also during the introductory telephone call.
“It’s another guy who has big goals, large aspirations and all these guys, it’s so significant,” Decosta told journalists on Friday evening. “You get the phone with them afterwards, and they all make their trip. They all fight their fight. They try to overcome and realize their dreams, and these guys are a very motivated group of guys.”

Jones was a daily tackle in college. However, the Ravens already have one of those of the editor of 2024, Roger Rosengarten. He cannot move to the left tackle because the Ravens have all-Pro Ronnie Stanley.
Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh is looking at Jones playing the role of a swing tackle. He also said Jones could be tried at the guard.
“No, we see it as a possible swing,” Harbaugh to journalists told Harbaugh. “This is why I thought that the choice was so good that Eric had made. He was lucky to be a swing backup tackle for us right away, but he also has a chance to go to the guard and play. So, we will put him on guard too, see how he does, and we think of the guard and to attack him once
