With a free agency and the NFL 2025 draft behind them, the Chiefs of Kansas City are ready to enter the longest part of the offseason with all the talents they need to defend their AFC championship next fall.
However, even with all the needs that meet, Kansas City’s front office can never afford to remove the foot from the gas pedal.

As such, it would be logical for the chefs to take a look at the signing of one or more star players who are always available before the start of the training camp this summer.
Take a look at the five best free agents, Kansas City should consider resuming:
CB Asante Samuel Jr.

The secondary of the chiefs is already busy, and the addition of a player like Samuel could put the unit from top in the 2025 season. Although it is not necessarily the greatest need of chiefs at the moment, Samuel could flourish in a star of Kansas City if the team decides to try his luck.
Og Brandon Scherff

Scherff won the honors of the first All-Pro team in 2020 and could be exactly the type of line player that chefs need to sign to compensate for the loss of Joe Thuney. A proven asset, Scherff will be an asset for the team to have the chance to conclude an agreement with him.
De / olb Matthew Judon

It is not often that a Quai-Bowler four times is available in free agency this end of the year, and the chefs are always eager to add rushers of passes. Although it may seem unlikely that Kansas City’s front office kicking the tires on Judon after selecting a rusher on board in the NFL 2025 draft, fans should expect the chiefs to explore all the options to increase their first four next season.
RB Nick CHUBB

Chubb is one of the most exciting runners in the NFL, and although wounds are a concern for him wherever he signs, Kansas City would be wise to seize his luck if Andy Reid wants to revolutionize the Chiefs’ racing game next season. If it is used in tandem with Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt, Chubb could be a perfect complication with an existing ground attack by Kansas City.
