New York jets could entertain the idea of exchanging the Ballon Breece Hall carrier this offseason. New York has a very deep rear-back room with three quality runners at the moment.
With hall entering a contractual year and the jets will not resig him, a business would have a lot of sense. This would allow New York to run with a ball carrier by committee with his second and third string runners while counting a capital project in exchange for hall.
David Latham of Last Word on Sports recently suggested that the Bengals of Cincinnati could be the Perfection of landing in a job for hall.
“Chase Brown survived the NFL draft, because the Bengals of Cincinnati did not select a ball carrier before having taken Tahj Brooks in the sixth round,” wrote Latham. “While the third year pro should start, it is not exactly built for a full -time role.
“Even by returning to his days at the university, Brown has only a season with more than 230 precipitation attempts and two seasons with 200 or more. Bengals could use a player to facilitate his burden, and a Breece Hall trade could give this team a duo of ball carrier almost unstoppable.”
Bengals did not add a high quality ball carrier in the project and they could use a solid running mate alongside Chase Brown. If cincinnati seeks to add more to the offensive, Hall could be the perfect option.
Bengals have already spent a lot of money in attack, so it is not clear if they would be ready to do so. Anyway, it would not be surprising to see the Jets room this offseason.
