The Patriots added 18 unrelated free agents after a successful recovery weekend, where New England made 11 selections on seven rounds in the draft of NFL 2025.
Nesn.com thinks that CJ Dipper has the best chances of being kept by the training camp passed in New England Patriots’ best post-report find.
“Another player who could easily have been written, Dippo (6-4, 256) was a very good racing blocker in Alabama and did everything – including playing on special teams – with a supreme effort and intensity,” wrote Baumgardner. “It will never be a high volume receiver, but could be an asset for Mike TrĂ©bel in the race game. Also, keep an eye on the east of Washington WR EFTON CHISM III.”
DIPPRE was a two -year start to Crimson, with an average of 38.2 offensive snaps per game as a blocker in the tide attack. He had no penalty in 14 games during the 2024 campaign. Dippy ran the third dashboard of 40 yards (4.69) and had the most bench rehearsals (32) among the tight ends to the screening combination.
He finished third in receptions and yards for the Tide Crimson in 2024 with 21 catches for 256 yards, and appeared in 27 games with 24 departures in two seasons with Alabama.

Although Dippo may have the chance to reach the tight piece room, he will certainly not replace the hunter Henry and Austin Hooper anytime soon.
