Tampa Bay Buccaneers Baker Mayfield’s quarterrier may be an excellent example of the quote “Change is as good as a holiday”, because Baker was one of the most coherent quarters in football since its passage to the NFC South franchise.
After having bounced from Carolina Panthers to Los Angeles Rams after being moved by the Browns of Cleveland, Mayfield is now installed in Tampa, and he sees himself on the ground.

Baker’s career resurgence, which has included consecutive appearances in the playoffs, two division titles and two Pro Bowl heads, is an interesting scenario before 2025.
Can it start all over again? And how does he assess?
Resolved questions.
Although there are skeptics, CBS Sports ranks Mayfield at No. 11 among the starters.
“It was not only the 41 Touché passes that confirmed it as dangerous in 2024″, ” CBS Sports written. “It was the courage he brought to a program often affected by injuries. His deficity is contagious in Tampa.”

One could easily say that during his two seasons with the Buccaneers, Mayfield was around the top 10 to 15 quarters of football.

So its ranking here feels good. But without a doubt, he wants to be higher.
Buccaneers should again win the NFC South, which will be for a fifth consecutive period, and the playoffs are the bare minimum for expectations in 2025.
The two “should” be accomplished, and this would mean that Mayfield plays a reasonably high level for a third consecutive year.
The big question is whether it can be a playoff race, which, for the most part, is the only thing that prevents them from being entirely adhered to what Mayfield sells in the field.
