Although the NFL project Recently wrappedAnother “draft” was in a way underway on Wednesday at Saint Vincent College to find staff for the next Steelers training camp at school.
This job event was organized by the Steelers, and the team told Kdka-TV that this employment fair had been created to occupy job staff such as car park and crowd control staff.
Several candidates for the first time showed up to interview, but some members of the return staff like Franke Devae Crosby, who spent last year working the door and greeting the fans, came to the camp.
When asked what she liked so much about work training work last year, Devae said: “Living new things and meeting new people. When you work with a whole bunch of people from different places, this gives you more experience in life. So I really liked to do it and meet the most new people in general.”
The requirements for these staff jobs include the possibility of sometimes walking for long distances, long periods and a desire to protect fans and players.
Dr. Jeff Mallory, executive vice-president and chief of the Saint-Vincent College, says that they are very proud of their partnership over 60 with the Steelers, and he says that excitement on the campus is built and that preparations for the camp are in progress.
“It’s always great for us when we are progressing here for the training camp,” said Dr. Mallory. “We are impatient to introduce the Pittsburgh Steelers once again here at Saint Vincent College. We have already started walking on the field, and what is happening, a group or a possibility of promoting the campus to walk in the shoes of what fans and players experience when they are here at the training camp. Also.”
The Steelers will appear at the training camp at the end of July, however, an official start date at the camp has not yet been announced.
