Green Bay Packers are looking to make noise in the NFC North this season. They aim to finish at the top of a closely disputed division. Last year, it was the Vikings of Minnesota and the Strait Lions who were fighting for first place, while the packers settled for a joker berth.
This year marks another season with Jordan Love as a quarterrier starting from Green Bay, which means that his receivers know that they are in a privileged position to obtain the ball. Love is a talented QB, and with another year of experience to his credit, he should take another step forward.
Since the draft of the NFL, a large part of the buzz surrounding the packers, has been concerned about the choice of first round Matthew Golden. Golden became viral in the night of the night after sharing what he plans to do with his first NFL pay check.
“Take part in my grandmother a house, guy,” said Golden. “We lost our property a few years ago. It is somewhere where I grew up when I was younger. It would be a blessing to be able to recover this for my family.”
Golden has every opportunity to have a big recruit season in Green Bay. He took over as a main wide receiver in Texas and has the potential to do the same for packers. ESPN analyst Eric Moody thinks that Golden will direct all recruits in reception sites – even before Travis Hunter, outside competition.
“Green Bay Wideout Matthew Golden will run all the recruits in reception yards. I think Golden will surpass Hunter and Tetairoa McMillan in the 2025 season. It is rare for packers to take a wide receiver in the first round, and Golden finds themselves in an ideal situation with the version of quarter-back Jordan and the offensive coach Matt Lafleur. Said Moody.

Golden certainly has the capacity, but it will take a lot to exceed someone like Hunter. Packers are excited by Golden – and rightly so.
