The Houston Texans certainly had a strong NFL draft, especially early when they landed some wide Iowa State receivers to strengthen an area in a significant need for improvement.
The Texans caught Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel, respectively, in the second and third cycles of the draft, and although Higgins is the prospect more physically imposing, some believe in fact that Noel could end up being the best of the two passers on a professional level.
Noel should be a slot machine receiver, with Nico Collins and Higgins probably playing outside next season. So, who makes the Speedster’s 5 -foot Speedster 11 inches for NFL Steve Palazzolo analyst? No one other than the star of Los Angeles Loaders Ladd McConkey.
Jaylin Noel is one of my favorite choices of this project for the Texans and one of the best choices of value for the entire OMI project.

McConkey took advantage of a brilliant recruit campaign in 2024, carrying 82 receptions for 1,149 yards and seven affected while posting a capture rate of 73.2%. Although it is mainly known as a guys from the slot machine, McConkey has displayed incredible versatility in the first year.
Can Christmas ultimately become a similar type of player? We can only hope, because Houston has an urgent need for aid to the receiver after losing Stefon Diggs at the free agency and with Tank Dell which should miss the 2025 season while recovering from a knee injury.
Noel spent four years at Iowa State, with his most productive campaign to come last season when he captured 80 assists for 1 194 yards and eight scores, settled as one of the most explosive weapons in the country.
We will see if the 22 -year -old can have a similar impact with the Texans next fall.
