The Buccaneers of Tampa Bay had one of the worst passes in the league last season under head coach Todd Bowles. They swore to make sure they wouldn’t pass that for another season.

Their solution? Concentrate strongly on the project secondary. Tampa Bay repeated Benjamin Morrison and Jacob Parrish with their choices from the second and third round. They also signed the Colorado Safety Shilo Sanders as an un residued free agent.

Sanders was the less known son of head coach Deion who helped to transform Colorado into one of the country’s most popular programs. It was always a long -term shot for Shilo to hear his name called in the draft, but enjoyed the opportunity to choose his new team as a UDFA.

So why the Buccaneers? The team already has All-Pro security on the list of Antoine Winfield Jr., so it’s not like there was time to have had immediately.

For Sanders, however, the answer was simple.

“They gave me a chance before anyone, so I am eternally grateful to the Buccaneers, and I’m just going to do everything in my power to help this team win,” said Sanders. “That’s all I want.

“Look at all the coaching staff. He is a real support coaches. Everyone wants to see everyone do good. Even team guys. I just talked to everyone, and everyone is cool. We all want to be won, and it’s just an excellent environment to pros.”

Bowles has the reputation of being an excellent defensive coach with great experience in the construction of solid defenses. This is the kind of coach a player like Sanders desperately needs NFL.

One day, he could very well be the kind of quality player in the backend that his father was in the past.
