The Kansas City chiefing calendar will be published Wednesday evening. The complete calendar is not clear, but Denver’s broncos will be twice as an AFC West Adversary.
The Broncos have a 1-13 file against the chiefs at the time of Patrick Mahomes, with their only victory in October 2023. During an appearance on the “DNVR Broncos Podcast, “ The longtime broncos corner half, Chris Harris Jr. said he wanted someone on the broncos to hit Mahomes and send a message, even if it meant drawing a penalty.
“Keep Mahomes in your pocket,” said Harris. “Do not let this guy run out, rush as he does it late in the games. And I dare one of these guys to hit him. Please. Someone must send a message in this game. You could get a penalty, right? You never know, but we used to send these messages.
Chiefs were made up of reputation for obtaining “sweet” calls in their favor. Last season, the speech around the outline of passers -by penalties called Mahomas was at a record level. However, telling a team to hit them hard to send a message seems excessive. Regardless of anyone’s opinion on Mahomas, the Brouillant Penalties are in place to protect the quarter.
We can recognize that the chiefs may have received generous calls. However, the fight against this by going blatant after a player may not be the best course of action. There was an era in the NFL when the rules were more loose to tackle and hit the quarter. However, this is not how things work now.

Harris, who played for the Broncos from 2011 to 2019, was a quay-bowler four times, an All-Pro champion and the Super Bowl with the team. He won only one match against the chiefs after Mahomes became the starter, and he came in 2020 as a member of the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Mahomes did not even play in the game because the chiefs were 14-1.
