The Pittsburgh steelers have just finished their minicamp recruit and took a look at all their recent recovery choices and some other participants on the field during the weekend.

On Tuesday, the team released the ball carrier Aaron Shampklin as part of its post-miniamp movements.

The old Harvard back spent three seasons in Ivy League for the 2017-21 Crimson, but missed 2019 with an injury and sat 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. He was not drafted in 2022 and signed with the Dallas Cowboys.

After inter -seation relays with the cowboys and the Indianapolis colts, Shampklin spent a season in the USFL with the Houston players (now the UFL Houston Roughnecks). He then signed in the 2023 off -season with the Los Angeles Loaders before joining Pittsburgh before the 2024 season.

Shampklin signed a future / reserves contract with the Steelers in January 2024 before being canceled in August and re-signed to the training team in September. He made his debut in the NFL in the week’s match 4 against the colts before being released on October 28 and was re-signed to the training team.

In six games with Pittsburgh, Shampklin collected six races for 17 yards. Shampklin would also have been a substitute teacher in southern California.

While with Harvard, Shampklin totaled 2,251 yards on 402 races with 23 affected and 29 catches for 296 yards and three additional scores.

Now, he will seek another opportunity to extend his modest NFL career or find a place on alignment on the UFL of spring, which serves as a “prove it” league for the budding players of the NFL.
