The New York Giants came from the NFL’s off-season player as well as winners, at least according to consensus. They have improved in the most important position of sport, added a first -rate prospect, signed two new starters in secondary school and will pass in 2025 as improved aitity.
Unfortunately for the giants, almost all the teams feel in the same way.

The release of the Wednesday calendar reminded fans such a reality. The NFC East became stronger in the spring. Las Vegas raiders, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots are under a new direction.
New York is unequivocally improved. The upgrading of Daniel Jones in Russell Wilson makes it quite obvious. And yet, Bleacher Report scored the giants among the worst NFL lists, despite the “victory” of the offseason.
“After the 24th row of total defense last season, the Giants should be respectable in defense in 2025″, ” Kristopher Knox wrote. “They also have competent offensive weapons like Nabers, Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr.
“The problem is that Dart is not considered a prospect ready for prudence, and the veteran duo of the quarter of Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson leaves much to be desired. Winston remains a subject of rolling, while Wilson trampled in the section of Pittsburgh Steelers last season.

“The giants may be better than they were during the 3-14 season of last year, but they cannot expect monumental improvements with a marginal quarter room.”
To some extent, Knox is right. It is difficult to find six victories with such a difficult calendar to come. They will not have the advantage under the center of the vast majority of games. And if they finish with a first choice in the draft of the NFL 2026, the reality is that they cannot be too far from the worst list of the League.
That said, New York has two first -rate talents on defense in the defensive platform Dexter Lawrence and the Rusher Edge Abdul Carter. The left platform Andrew Thomas is a healthy star and the Malik Nabers receiver was the best receiver of a stacked class. There are a handful of quality starters completing them, and although there are certainly holes and spots without too much advantage, there are several other teams with similar talents (or less).
The Titans of Tennessee, the Saints of New Orleans and the Browns of Cleveland were listed before the Giants, the Carolina Panthers dragged. Raiders have little outside Geno Smith, the winger tight Brock Bowers, the ball carrier Ashton Jeanty and the Rusher on board Maxx Crosby. The Indianapolis colts are mired in mediocrity with a less stable quarter room. The Cleveland Browns won the second choice and barely improved under the center.

Maybe New York turns out to be better than these unhappy squads. Maybe Knox is right and Wilson does not raise the giants much.
The problem is that they are still in the conversation, even after four offensons seasons led by Joe Schoen. If 2025 ends in a similar way to 2024, it may not have the possibility of rectifying the faults on this list.
