The D for niners is hard. Yes, they lost many key players during the offseason, but it was planned, and they have players that they expect to fill these roles.
However, the movements of the Seahawks to go from Geno Smith, Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf to then replace them with Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are confusing. Are they better? They have a young defense that improves.
The cardinals have considerably improved their defense, but their attack is good and will progress with the talent already on the list.

The Rams already had a solid list, moved from Kupp to Davante Adams at the receiver and acquired an additional choice in the first round in 2026.
