As the 2025 NFL season approaches, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights will be well represented this season. And with all the success that the old rutgers which run the balloon of Isiah Pacheco has had recent memory, another old one could soon join him on the similar track.
Bleacher reports’ Damien Parson recently written About several recruits which were selected on the third day of the NFL draft which could have an immediate impact this season. The list includes Rutgers very clean Kyle Monangai because Parson said he had a chance to get out of summer training as RB2 for the Bears in Chicago.
“Monangai has the opportunity to get out of summer training and camps as RB2 behind [D’Andre] Fast,” wrote Parson. “He could dislodge the veteran by rushing to Downs and relegating Swift to the role of attracting passes and third decline. Although he was selected in the seventh round, his university band does not show a prospect at the end of the day.”
In his last season with the Scarlet Knights, Monangai finished with a career summit of 1,279 yards on the ground and 13 affected while making an average of five yards per race. But despite his impressive performance in 2024, the 22 -year -old ball carrier was selected by the Bears in the seventh round of the NFL 2025 draft.
Now Monangai has a chance to make a name for himself in Chicago under the newly hired head coach Ben Johnson. The former attacking coordinator of the Detroit lions led the runners David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs to become a deadly punch, which could be similar for Monangai and Swift.
