“I understand the cool thing about it, but if I did not do it – would it make a difference in the way I am seen in the eyes of the packers? When I retire, in four years, I will go to the temple of the reputation of the packers, may or not have my number removed. Whether they do it or not,” said Rodgers. “There is a lot of love on my part and what I feel about the team. If I do or I don’t do it [retire a Packer]I don’t think it should make a difference. “”
In his latest reflections on the issue, Rodgers would finally leave the ball in the packers:
“I’m not yet sure. If [the Packers] Approach me on this subject, I would probably do it. “”
His “four -year -old” retirement period is interesting to say the least – but it is quite possible that he simply painted a theoretical image of when he would call that.
