Miller admitted that a meeting did not make sense in 2025, but he left the door open to end his career in Denver at the bottom of the road, perhaps from 2026.
“I didn’t hear anything,” said Miller when asked if the Broncos contacted him. “But, I mean, really, if you look at it, this year it really does not make sense. They have two, very good rushers who are the best in the league [caliber]. With Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto, they are incredible rushers – and guys below them, they also come and produce bags too. And they play special teams.
“I don’t play special teams,” said Miller, laughing. “This decision is made in a way, I think that at 36 years old, I can say that I will probably not do that. But yes, this year, probably not, but the following year – next year – we will see what will happen.”
Miller, a double champion of the Super Bowl, Has the record for all time of the team With 110.5 bags. Miller still loves broncos, and he is loved in Denver, but the team’s list has no room for a passing of aging rotation. Perhaps this will change in 2026. If this is not the case, the club will undoubtedly welcome Miller for a day contract to retire as a Bronco each time it decides to hang up its crampons.
