A in Z Sports’ Mike Payton sees a business that the lions could do to obtain another rusher of pass.
Payton recently appointed Saints-Orléans Saintes Edge Cameron Jordan as a potential commercial objective for the Lions before the training camp.
Move from Jordan does not do much for the saints. They would only save $ 1.26 million in the ceiling space by exchanging it and would not get much commercial capital in return for him.
This decision has much more sense for Lions. They still do not have a second reliable edge on the list. Jordan could be that for them.

He is certainly not yet at the pro Bowl level that we saw a large part of his career in the NFL, but last season, he proved that he still had something to offer.
In 2024, Jordan had four bags and 28 total pressures. He also had 21 stops, which was good for 45th place in his position according to Professional football focus.
It would not be the most impressive decision, but it would give Lions someone more reliable than Marcus Davenport.
It would not cost much either because the saints would eat most of his money, which seems to be the most important factor for the organization at the moment.
