When the Buffalo Bills acquired the Large Amari Cooper receiver of the Cleveland Browns, they had hoped that his experience in Pro Bowl would be sufficient to make him the higher target of their offense.

It did not go exactly as planned.

The 30-year-old receiver fought his half-season in the western New York and was a non-factor for the rest of his matches. The fact that he cannot succeed with a high-level quarter of a quarter like Josh Allen throwing him the ball let himself wonder if Cooper’s career was coming to an end.

These concerns can however be suspended in the coming weeks.

The NFL journalist Gilberto Manzano believes that Cooper could end up signing a free agent agreement with Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason.

“Cooper, who was 31 years old in June, experienced a silent passage with the Bills after being exchanged by the Browns in the middle of the season,” wrote Manzano. “He is still a solid runner of a road capable of opening the ground for his teammates. The Steelers are thin to the wide receiver after sending George Pickens to Dallas Cowboys.”

Pittsburgh looked for a second quality option to the receiver, so it makes sense that they target a player like Cooper.

It doesn’t make him the right choice, however.

The difficulties that copy crossed in Buffalo have forced the invoices to spend even more money this offseason for Joshua Palmer. No one confused the start of Palmer to his career to someone like Cooper, and yet the Bills have made the list move anyway.

It is a sign that the team is not raised on a former player of their their own. And Pittsburgh could eventually get into a situation in difficulty if they took this road.
