THE Washington Commanders Cornerback acquired Marshon Lattimore via trade in the middle of the 2024 season. Adam Peters sent three draft choices to the Saints of New Orleans in exchange for the veteran cornerback. He spent most of the season to fight against an injury to the hamstrings, appearing in just two games for commanders. He is the starting corner half planned alongside Mike Sainristil and Pro Football Focus said It is the X factor of commanders in 2025.
X-Factor for 2025: CB Marshon Lattimore
The commanders acquired Lattimore before the commercial deadline for last season to improve a hearth unit powerfully in difficulty. Unfortunately, he fought against an injury to the hamstrings in the section and only played in the last five games of the team, including the playoffs. A return to health and a complete production season closer to its career averages would considerably improve a corner unit which was listed last in PFF coverage last season.
The former defensive recruit of the year had its best season in 2021, when he recorded 68 plated, three interceptions and 19 passes defended. Since then, he has not finished the full season due to various injuries.

The commanders could not see a large part of what he will do for them, but if Lattimore can remain healthy in 2025, he certainly has the capacity to be an X factor that nobody sees coming. However, out of the last 68 games (four seasons) in which he could have played, Lattimore missed 42. And as he aged, he is more likely to continue to injure himself.
However, once again, if he can remain healthy, Lattimore is one of the best semi -corner in the league. We have not heard his name much because he was out of the field, but he will certainly do his best to remind us why he is a four -time four times.
