“Miami left Holland walking in a free agency after posting a career cover note of 57.1 in 2024. However, his coverage note of 91.3 since 2021 is still tied in fifth row among the qualified security, highlighting its overall coherence before last season”. Written Wasserman. “Holland prosperous as a deep free security in unique covers, a promising adjustment under the new defensive coordinator Shane Bowen, whose defense ranked sixth in unique use during the regular season of 2024.”
Holland played 15 games for the dolphins last season and finished with 62 plated in total (42 solo), a bag, two plated for the defeat, two strokes, a forced escape and four defended passes.
During her first three seasons, the young security showed a talent to find football. Holland recorded a total of five interceptions of 2021-2023 to go with four forced escapes, four escaped recovery and 21 pass ruptures.
As Wasserman noted, Holland was one of the best rated security of PFF on the cover throughout his first three seasons, while behaving well in defense of the race.
The veteran will join Tyler Nubin and Dane Belton as the best safety of the team, the Holland being the oldest in the group having been 25 years old. The three players recorded at least one interception during the first half of the OTA.
The entire secondary is considering a good opportunity to develop together, because each safety or cornerback currently on the list will be 26 or less at the start of the season.
