The former chiefing receiver Chris Conley announced his retirement on Saturday after a solid work decade in the NFL. One of his highlights? He was a guy who caught the first TD pass launched by Mahomes at the Stadium Arrowhead on September 23,
Conley, a Georgia product, was taken by KC in the third round of the NFL draft in 2015 … He will therefore always have his links here.
But now?
Conley will return to her Alma Mater to attend a film school at the University of Georgia, continuing his dream of becoming a filmmaker.
This is certainly a unique path for the veteran receiver which passed its first four seasons of the NFL in Kansas City. He then had stays with the Jacksonville jaguars, the Texans of Houston, the Titans of Tennessee and more recently the 49ers of San Francisco.

Conley ended his career with a total of 226 receptions for 2,998 yards and 15 affected. His most productive season with the chiefs came in 2016 when he had 44 receptions for 530 yards, helping the team to the crown of the western division of the AFC.

Mahomes had a special three -words response to Conley’s announcement.
“Congratulations my man !!!” Mahomes wrote on the Instagram publication of Conley.
Conley himself posted on Instagram that the last 10 years have been a dream. Obtaining the opportunity to play in the league was an honor and whether it was touching affected or blocking for them, I really gave everything. ”
