After finishing a productive week of organized team activities (OTA) in Berea, the Recruit of Browns Shemer Sanders Recruit offered a silent but striking statement.

Written in the fifth round (144th in total) of the NFL 2025 draft, Sanders participated in a quarter-back competition which includes the veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, as well as the recruit Dillon Gabriel and the holder of Deshaun Watson, who is sidelined for the season with an Achille injury.
Saturday, Sanders shared an assembly of images of the practices of the week on his Instagram account, without any legend that accompanies him.
The post presents Sanders in various exercises, working alongside his colleagues coaches and teammates.

Born in Tyler, Texas, Sanders first made the headlines in Jackson State under the supervision of his father, Pro Football Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders.
As a recruit in 2021, it passed for 3,231 yards and 30 affected, winning the Jerry Rice Award as the first recruit of the FCS.
He followed with a second season which saw him launch for 3,752 yards and 40 scores, saying that the offensive swac player of the year and the trophy of the deacon Jones as the first HBCU player in the country.

A transfer to Colorado in 2023 saw Sanders breaking school records, including a pass day of 510 yards against TCU and in 2024, he made 4,134 overtaking yards with 37 affected, winning the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
The Browns, on the other hand, entered in 2025 to bounce back from a difficult season of 2024 which saw the team finish 3-14, enduring its worst record since 2017.
