Terron Armstead described this as a career after playing in the NFL for 12 years and won four Pro Bowl selections between his time with the New Orleans and Miami Dolphins.
The 33 -year -old offensive player fought against injuries at the end of his career. He highlighted the pain as one of the reasons why he decided to hang on his crampons.

“I have been dealing with a knee since my third year in the league,” he said during an appearance on the “Nightcap Show.” “I haven’t seen a training ground at all, not because I didn’t want to or the Dolphins just wanted me to rest. It is as if I could literally not walk.
“After a match on Sunday, I could not walk alone, under my own power, before Wednesday, Thursday. So I could only play under painting against pain. I could not put pressure on my knee, so it was like, I can’t continue to do.”

The Saints chose Armstead in the third round of the NFL 2013 draft. He played in six games during his recruit year before winning his place on the offensive line in 2014. He never appeared in the 16 or 17 games during an NFL season.
He has played the last three years with the Dolphins and announced his retirement in April.
