The backup receiver, which has played in 22 games in the past two seasons in Green Bay, has done something rarely – if ever – seen before in a packer practice: in the same exercise, Melton not only played his regular position, but also overthrew on the other side of the ball and took some corner clichés.

Lafleur discussed the subject again last week after the OTA final of the Packers. When Minicamp opened its doors on Tuesday, Melton made his debut as a cornerback while wearing his white n ° 80 jersey in practice, where offensive players wear white and defensive players wear green.
“I know there is a lot of attention with Hunter there in Jacksonville with what he does,” said Lafleur about the bidirectional recruit of the Jaguars. “So we presented him a little, and he said he was ready to take up the challenge.”
Melton, however, wanted to clarify one thing: it is not Hunter, the second choice of the place, which played both the receiver and the cornerback in Colorado and should do the same in the NFL.
