The former Defensive Star of Houston’s Texans, JJ Watt, will be occupied this fall for several reasons, but he will not play on the grill.

The 36 -year -old man who had flirted with a to come back Off-And has since retired at the end of the 2022 season, seemed to put these discussions at rest on Wednesday while the Texans closed the mini-camp.

Not only will Watt have their hands full this fall with a new child, but he will also have a new role with CBS Sports. After two seasons as a studio analyst, Watt will move in the stand as a color commentator alongside the Play-By-Play Ian Eagle voice.

“Ian is the best,” said Watt. “There is nothing better when you have Ian Eagle as a partner. It is so sweet, so full of mind, so intelligent, balanced. It will make me look good in any situation. I am very lucky to have such a good partner.”
Regarding its new role in the stand, Watt is impatient to start preparing.
“It stretches this muscle, and I love to watch the film during the week,” said Watt. “I love studying players and so it’s just a bit of work.”
It remains to be determined if he will be on the call for the Texans matches, but Watt would be surprised if he was not on the call to a match this fall.
