The Buccaneers of Tampa Bay have a new attacking coordinator in Josh Grizzard, with Liam Coen now the Jacksonville jaguars head coach.

Some have used the last change of coordinator as reason to reduce what Baker Mayfield and the offense can make in 2025, but this change is not entirely new.
Grizzard was the coordinator of the passenger game last season under Coen, so he already knows the system and the players at his disposal.
And for the veteran Mike Evans, having “Grizz” as the main man now is good to see.
“Coach Grizz, last year, we talked a lot, but he did not speak so much in a group”, ” Evans SaiD on the way the staff managed the players on the training field, in the meeting rooms and in the locker room. “He does a very good job to speak in front of everyone, and we couldn’t see him last year, but he is a very good coach, and I can’t wait to have a great season for him.”

With the offensive one of the best in football under Coen last season, Grizzard will have a difficult task at least to maintain this level of play.

Admittedly, with the new Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson receptors, coupled on the return of Chris Godwin and the improvement of Bucky Irving and Jalen McMillan, there is enough talent to shred a defense.
But before this can happen, the unit must understand what Grizzard tries to do and the new wrinkles it will have installed in the offense. This is what OTA and Minicamp are used for, and for all accounts, the group hit the ground with Grizzard.
And if Evans gives you a brilliant approval, you know you do something good.
