Isaiah Simmons ended up being a little disappointed for the Arizona cardinals As a former first round choice, selected eighth in the general classification in 2020. “I think what I met in most of my career is that everyone wants me to do everything, instead of letting myself become really good in one thing”, Simmons said for minicamp last week. “I fully believe in HAF’s plan. He lets me lock me and learn a small portion before I even think about expanding something else. This is something that I really appreciate, because I have never really had the opportunity to really face a position … just being able to locate one thing, and do this 1/11 every day, it was huge for me.”

He did not approach the production he had with the cardinals in 2021-2022 under the defensive coordinator Vance Joseph. He recorded 1,005, then 896 defensive slams these seasons. In two seasons, he played a 558 defensive snaps combined for the giants, who were not good. He totaled 71 plated in total, a bag, an interception, five shortcomings of passes and two escaped forced in two seasons.
Playing a varied role of secondary and in the slit in 2022 alone with the cardinals, he had 99 plated, four bags, two interceptions, seven ruptures of passes, two forced escapes and a breakdown recovery.
It seems that Vance Joseph was the only coach to draw something productive from Simmons.
Gannon saw him as security in 2023, but he played the secondary for the giants and is now again in the Packers.

Perhaps it will again unlock his production, but the fact is that he has never played better than when he was in several roles for cardinals under Vance Joseph.
