Washington commanders have one of the best lists in the NFL after going to the NFC championship match last season.
Commanders have higher objectives for the coming season, but the list still has faults that must be resolved by September.
The writer to Bleacher Report Kristopher Knox underlined Washington’s need to have a better passWhether it comes from the players of the team that intensify or from the front Office to sign a veteran or two.
Commanders need upgrades for passes
“”[Commanders general manager Adam] Peters should also seek to strengthen a rush to the passes that lost the 2024 Sacks Dante Fowler Jr. leader in free agency. Von Miller, Za’darius Smith and Matthew Judon are the remaining free market titles. The addition of at least one of them in the coming weeks would be logical, “wrote Knox.
Commanders have a lot of question points concerning the rush to the passes, but that does not mean that the players in the list cannot succeed by themselves.
Washington will need players like Deatrich Wise Jr. and Dorance Armstrong Jr. to intensify the defensive line, while Frankie Luvu will probably have to direct the bag of bags. He has large shoes to fill with Fowler Jr. by letting Dallas cowboys sign in free agency.
If commanders have no internal growth in the position or sign someone from the outside who can help, the team could miss a huge piece to the puzzle that will bring them back to the playoffs.
