The training camps opened through the NFL last week. But later this week, the Lions of Detroit and the Los Angeles chargeers will meet in Canton, Ohio, to officially launch the pre-season.
On Tuesday, head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Trey launches as a starter for the opening of Thursday’s exhibition. Lance was the third global selection of the NFL 2021 draft, but the first seasons of his professional football career were turbulent.

Harbaugh, who is starting his second season as a head coach in Los Angeles, also told journalists that Lance would take pictures in the third quarter of the match against the Lions.

“I want to have a trey lance game experience,” said Harbaugh.

Lance finished the 2024 season with 266 yards by the pass, no touchdown and an interception. He began his career in the NFL with the 49ers of San Francisco.
