THE Washington Commanders were back on the ground on Tuesday, but this time, without the pads. Commanders were in the pads on Monday for the first time this summer.

Head coach Dan Quinn met the media before training and revealed that the veteran goalkeeper Nate Herbig retired. Signed this offseason, the 27 -year -old herbig has played 61 games in six seasons, with 30 departures. Herbig competed with Chris Paul, Julian Good-Jones and others for an inner rescue place.

In our first projection of 53 men before the start of the training camp, we had herbig making the team. Nick Allegretti will be the best interior reserve in Washington and will start at the right -wing guard if Sam Cosmi is lacking time to start the season.

Back to what happened on the field. Here are six points to remember from day 6 of the training camp.

Sainristil had a phenomenal recruit season, playing inside and outside the cornerback. However, he was overshadowed by the two Philadelphia corners, even if he was just as good. The Eagles had the n ° 1 defense of the NFL, which helped their recruit duo. This summer, Sainristil is everywhere. It is still around the ball and it makes games on the ball. He sparkles his teammates, of course, of course, and understands where he is supposed to be at any time. Sainristil plays with extreme confidence. Sainristil spent another good day on Tuesday.

Everyone knows that Terry McLaurin is WR1. However, with him, Deebo Samuel was the target of the favorite receiver of Jayden Daniels. The duo has established a report since spring and seemed to be on the same wavelength in the training camp. Many have been done with what Samuel does well. Yes, he is phenomenal after taking, when he puts the ball in his hands near the melee line. However, Samuel ran roads on the ground, plunging for cowardly bullets and more. He is motivated. The absence of McLaurin could benefit Daniels and Samuel.

The choice of sixth round of Washington had a calm start to camp, but that does not mean a bad start. During Tuesday training, Medrano made impact games on consecutive shots. Medrano is probably on the list of 53 men because it will stand out in special teams. But it is encouraging when he played defense games. Commanders believe that he could be a future starter once he has cleaned certain things. It is raw, but it is exceptionally talented.

We know that Samuel has a good camp, but it’s not unexpected. With McLaurin Out and Noah Brown who takes slowly to start the camp, it’s an excellent opportunity for others. Some have flashed, such as the veteran Chris Moore and the recruit Jaylin Lane. Has anyone intensified and has already won a place? Not yet, but that’s what pre-season is used. I saw complaints about Luke McCaffrey. McCaffrey had a good spring and he was well at the camp. Was it dominant? No. But that does not mean that he did not perform well. Commanders need more coherent moments in this group, not appointed Deebo Samuel.

Ben Sinnott has a great camp. While playing in every match as a recruit, he was buried behind Zach Ertz and John Bates. While these two are back in 2025, the hope is that Sinnott will take away a few shots from Ertz. Not because coaches don’t like Ertz, they do, but it is the natural progress you want to see of a second round choice. Ideally, at some point, Sinnott will share shots with Ertz. The role of bates will not be assigned. Having Ertz as a mentor was excellent for Sinnott. The second -year -old entrepreneur also seems to gain the confidence of the Jayden Daniels quarter.

Fans are impatient. Some were ready to throw in the towel on Sinnott, without any fault on his part. Although the season has started again, Sinnott’s growth will be fun.

Many thought that the recruit Jaylin Lane would be the turnover of the release of the day 1. After all, the director general Adam Peters called the best turnover of the draft of the draft of the NFL 2025. He is in the mixture, but, as we know, nothing is given by Dan Quinn staff. Lane is organizing a good camp, but the coaches also want to see the others catch kits. The wide receiver KJ Osborn, Kaz Allen and Demetric Felton, joined Lane des Quatre, Lane is the only guarantee to do 53, so do what you want. Allen has always had intriguing skills, but he stayed in the training team. The pre-season is essential for the hopes of the alignment to have an impact on the special teams, which includes return clearances.
