Gosnell played two years in North Carolina before three seasons at Virginia Tech. He tore his ACL during the military victory of the Hokies on December 27, 2023. Gosnell rehabilitated himself with tenacity and was back on the field for the opening of their Virginia Tech eight months later. He managed the team with 506 reception yards in 2024.
