THE New York Giants The veteran offensive line player signed James Hudson III to an agreement of $ 12 million over two years this offseason in the hope that he would locate the role of a swing tackle – a job he compared to an MLB closer.
Although he has not yet obtained this work officially, Hudson has certainly made his presence feel.

During the compulsory minicamp team this spring, the 6 -foot Hudson 5 inches and 313 pounds entered with Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux. This continued in the training camp, where the temperatures between the three continued to move.
Monday, Hudson and Thibodeaux almost came to the blows after the imposing tackle launched the assistant on the ground during exercises 1 against 1.
Although head coach Brian Daboll prefers to avoid fighting in summer, he left with the Hudson edge and attitude provides the offensive line.
“I love it, for an offensive line player,” he said. “You are still looking for attacking lines that bring an advantage. Again, we have to be intelligent, so what will be going to be in the fourth quarter when things get difficult and someone pushes you and pushes you?

“When you get tired, you don’t want to do stupid things that affect the team negatively, but their advantage and their personality were a welcome addition to the room.”
Daboll admits that Hudson is all the time of business, although he will occasionally try to make him smile.
“He is a very athletic guy, was able to play both sides of the ball, and he had a good style of play, but now you get to know him at a different level. During meetings, he is a pretty serious guy. I try to make him smile once a day, does not always work,” said Dabes. “He had a good camp, playing there on the left with each drop, so we want this aggressive approach.”
Hudson brings the kind of grain that the offensive line, and the giants as a whole, have been missing for years.
