The Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte FC and the YMCA from Greater Charlotte announced a new partnership on Thursday to improve the sports programming of young people in the region.

The collaboration aims to expand access to football and flag football through a series of programs, camps and community initiatives.
“We are delighted to join that of the YMCA of the Grand Charlotte to give more children in our community the chance to go out and play football and football of the flag,” said Kristi Coleman, CEO of Tepper Sports & Entertainment and the president of Carolina Panthers, in a press release. “This partnership will allow us to open new doors so that even more children have the opportunity to participate in the practice of team sports.”
Greater Charlotte’s YMCA will adopt football Panthers NFL Flag as its official flag football program for young people, offering young athletes the opportunity to learn fundamental skills and participate in a competition game.
Participants in Panthers NFL Flag Football League will receive official flag jerseys from Caroline Panthers from Caroline and will benefit from the exclusive experiences of the day of the Panthers game. They will also have the opportunity to participate in the NFL flag tournaments, among other exciting program benefits.

The Charlotte FC will integrate its football programs for young people with community awareness of YMCA.
This will allow young athletes of all levels to train using the development methodology of Charlotte FC and to better understand what it takes to play at the next level.
