The old friend Kam Arnold was back in the region on Wednesday as a member of the Washington commanders.
Arnold has had a lot of looks with both and seems to assert a serious file for a list place. I caught up with him after training a little, here is all he had to say:
By being back in New England
“It was nostalgic. You know, it was just a little weird not to be in British Columbia, but it was cool to be back in Boston, seeing the crowd being in this atmosphere and everything. I felt good to fly around. “
Faced with Alec Lindstrom and Jack Conley on the other side
“It was cool too. It’s like … it’s cool to see faces and familiar stuff. Being with these guys, we used to do it all the time at school, so it was good to see them too.”
On if he has already communicated with Harold Landry in British Columbia
“I never really talked to him before, I didn’t really interact with him before, but I had heard of him and watched his match before and everything. Big fan of him. Players like that, I try to take a little of their game and see what I can add to my game.
On if he will follow British Columbia this fall
“I’m going to really follow football from British Columbia. Like the whole season. There are still a lot of guys in the team with which I am always very close, very cool. So, I’m going to send them SMS and talk to them and everything. I will follow them all the season.”
Adapting to the NFL game
“I mean, now I play Mike (second) that I was before, so I was just defense. But, the main thing was to take the calls, the defense and everything, learning the game book. I felt good, at a fairly high level. So, now, it is simply a question of studying the offensive and finding their trends and trying to play quickly. Make games and all.”
