White Sulphur Springs, WV (WVNS) – One thing has become clearer for Houston’s Texans while they continue their stay in Greenbrier. Their defense could be one of the best in the NFL, perhaps even better than in 2024.

The Texans finished in the Top 10 Total Defense, praising stars like Derek Stingley Jr., Will Anderson Jr. and Kamari Lassiter, among others. Their defense was a key element on the way to capture a second first place AFC South First place in a row.
As they are preparing for the 2025 NFL season, they have new faces in the room. A notable addition is the defensive back CJ Gardner-Johnson, which won its first Super Bowl with the Eagles in February.
“If you go aside, we want it to be difficult. So they want to challenge Kamari-great. You want to challenge Stingley-great. We feel that these two guys can play a head-on game,” said head coach Demeco Ryans.
Even if coach Ryans is a defensive coach of mind in his soul, he said that it would take everyone in the team – offense, defense and special teams – to succeed in the week and the week.

Tensions began to move during training between certain Texan players. Any concern, however, was rejected by coach Ryans.
“I am delighted to see these guys playing against someone else. It is this camp period where it will be a little more chirped. You will see fights and warm -up, but you get tired of hitting the same person. You get tired of going against the same plans again and again. So it’s time for us to play a game, “said coach Ryans.
