THE Green bay packers fell out of the doors when opening the pre-season and lost 30-10 against the New York Jets After the errors accumulated in Matt Lafleur’s team in the three phases.

“It was a humiliating experience,” said Lafleur. “Certainly not what we want to put there. I don’t care, the pre-season, the regular season, it does not matter for me. It was just a sloppy football. Too many penalties, drops, missed tackles, bad decision-making. And it was really presented in all the phases of football. And if you do this, you are going to kick your ass, and that’s exactly what happened.”

Here is the good, the bad and the ugly leaving the loss of the packers against the jets:

    Good

Pair of impressive draft choice: The choice of first round Matthew Golden converted a 3rd and-7 with his first taking of the NFL, and he pulled a passing interference penalty on sauce Gardner to convert a second third through two series of action. The choice of fourth round, Barryn Sorrell, led the defense with two strokes at an active start.

Amar Johnson shines: The recruit of the state of southern Dakota presented an impressive burst and speed. He had seven races in 67 yards, including a 15 yards and a touch of 39 yards in the fourth quarter. Johnson also had a 10 yard race denied by penalty in the first half. Maybe he can grow a list in the coming weeks.

    The bad

Backup offensive line: The packers committed five detention penalties, including three of the second -year offensive player Jacob Monk, who had a hard time in the goalkeeper and the center. The choice of second round Anthony Belton had a maintenance penalty, as is hope Donovan Jennings. The jets also produced four bags, including three from Malik Willis. Operating like the center of the second team, Sean Rhyan abandoned the band bag that led to a defensive touch of the jets.

Hardman guy: The veteran receiver dropped a pass, attracted a clearance of clearance inside the 5 yards line and stifled a boot of the rebound, causing a turnover. The clearance strap he aligned inside the 5 yards line pinned the packers deeply and led to a defensive tower with band. Saturday was a bad night for the chances of the Hardman list.

Catch football: Finiring Catchs was a big problem, continuing a trend from 2024. Romeo Doubs failed to convert his two disputed sockets. Hardman and Malik Heath had ugly drops. Israel Abanikanda dropped a screen. Julian Hicks had a ball through his hands.

    The ugly

Overall performance: The defense of the first team of the packers abandoned a journey of Touché to Justin Fields, while the offensive of Jordan Love made an end to end the two possessions. After the start of beginners, the packers did not convert another third in the rest of the game. Green Bay was exceeded from 403 to 188 in total and finished with only 10 completions and 64 net yards. Matt Lafleur’s team had seven penalties, two reversals and four authorized bags, while the jets held football for almost 39 minutes. The jets dominated both the dashboard and the box score; Packers played badly during the 60 minutes. Football is to block, catch football and tackle, and packers had trouble in the three areas.

Concerning injuries: Although no important starter was injured, the packers did not leave the opening of the pre-season without some concerns. Jayden Reed was in a walking boot after having injured his foot earlier during the week – his status of week 1 could be in danger. During the match, the special team Zayne Anderson injured the knee in the first half and the Correy Ballentine corner half left the match in the second half.
