THE Vikings launched his 2025 campaign with his pre-season match with the Texans on Saturday.
The match saw the return of the quarter-Arrière JJ McCarthy after having torn his meniscus last year in his only match. He saw an action in a single journey, and the rest of the quarter-rear took over and helped the offensive to maintain a pace. In defense, Brian Flores seems to appreciate the pieces that Kwesi Adofo-Mensah obtained for him on this side of the ball as they dominated the Texans. Contouring things, Special Teams also looks good throughout, which the team needed to get an advantage last year.

We wanted to put the glasses of our teachers and take out the rating book once again after having moved them from six months. Here’s how we classified the Vikings units on both sides of the ball.
Rear quarter
Grade: a
JJ McCarthy looked good in his only journey of the match, leading the team to a basket. After sitting for the afternoon, the rotation of Sam Howell, Rypian Brett and Max Brosmer all play their share and maintained the minnesota offensive. Howell and Brosmer led to the touch of touched with the latter with several throws.
Back-back
Grade: C +
The runners had trouble due to the performance of the offensive line and the difficulty in finding momentum. Jordan Mason ran hard in his few races he had, but Zavier Scott paved the way with 40 yards in time that the chronometer has flowed. Look for the group to have a stronger base next week after being able to go up and on things as an offensive line before the rest of the offense makes the line.

Large receptors and tight ends
Grade: C
While the quarter-arre has shown that they could progress, wide receivers and tight ends had trouble bringing someone to emerge as a high-level guy in the absence of several playmakers. Jordan Addison had three catches, which was equal for the most among all pass sensors.
Offensive line
Grade: B-
The offensive line had all their starters outside of Christian Darrisaw, but they have shown that it still had growing pain. Recruit Donovan Jackson had some problems, but online rotation parts also faced a strong pressure on the section.

Defensive line
Grade: B +
The pressure they built to obtain after the quarters of the Texans led to reversals and bags. Brian Flores was in his bag to go after the quarter, but the racing game was able to make progress at different times. It was a solid performance but which proved that the defense of the race continues to be a work in progress.
Seconds
Grade: B
The seconds cleaned everything that crossed the defensive line and left people to cross. The unit did not have its star in Blake Cashman, but they had the chance to show their depth, and it was something that lacked the group in 2024. If this unit can even be average in 2025, this defense will lose its ceiling.

Secondary
Grade: a+
Six shortcomings and three interceptions make this group the star of the game. From start to finish, they made games and, therefore, the Vikings never let the Texans enter the thickness of things.
