It was an interesting off -season for the Bengals of Cincinnati, and that you ask, frustrating too.
Having radically required an upgrade on the defense, even if they have the league chief of last year in Trey Hendrickson in their team, the Bengals have selected Shemar Stewart of Texas A&M with the 17th choice in total to the Restchage of the NFL 2025.
But as we all know, it was not a smooth navigation as if it were generally between a recruit and their team.
After a long suspension process, Stewart finally signed with the team, the last of the first round choices, and now Stewart is getting to work and really proves why he was a first -round choice.
And my boy he, he.
During the first pre-season game of the Bengals against the Super Bowl champion, Philadelphia Eagles, Stewart showed why he deserved to be taken as early as him, assuring only a tackle, but having him counting as the loss of meters.
He was also very obvious with his precipitation capacities, as we see here:

It seems that Stewart’s defensive assets have transported from College Station to Cincinnati, at least for the moment.
Although the defensive line player was neglected for his production of low bag bags in college (4.5 in three seasons), his combination of the NFL compared, which many compare to that of the old choice n ° 1 of Myles Garrett, compensated for all the doubts that the scouts could have had, by arrowing the dashboard of the first round.
But shortly after, the editorial staff is the place where the majority of the intersane drama started for the Bengals of Cincinnati, both with Stewart and Hendrickson.
After reporting the MINICAMP RECRUE compulsory, Stewart refused to sign his recruit participation agreement and would not participate in the field exercises and was not shy in his team criticism, claiming that the Bengals were trying to insert a language that would affect the guaranteed money that he would earn in the future.
After originally leaving the mini-camp, Stewart and the Bengals finally agreed with a fully guaranteed recruit agreement.
During his three years at College Station, which saw Stewart play in 37 games, he accumulated 65 plated in total and two recovery escaped in addition to his infamous 4.5 bags.
Bengals opened their campaign in 2025 with their divisional rivals in the state, the Cleveland Browns at the DAWG Pound at 12:00 pm CST on Sunday, September 7.
