The two practices should last two hours and 15 minutes, which is the longest for the giants this summer.
No fight
Whenever giants and jets come together, things tend to become a little breathtaking. However, this time, head coaches Brian Daboll and Aaron Glenn hope to avoid this.
“We are going there for one thing: to improve. Period,” Glenn said on Monday. “This is the only reason we do this – is to improve against another team. And I look forward to it.”
“We have an overview of how we are going to practice in terms of periods, when we are going to be separated and when we are going to be together,” said Daboll. “Usually, this implies an individual type of work, then I will be on the offensive field of the giants, it will be on the offensive field of the jets, and what we talked about is when it is on this ground and that I am on this ground, you are the head coach of this area.

“We want to practice the right way, do work, try to keep the ground and cheap plans and all these other things.
Friendship has led to joint practices
Giants’ head coach Brian Daboll has attributed his friendship with Jets head coach Aaron Glenn to help facilitate these joint practices.
“I would say a number of years,” said Daboll when he asked how far his relationship with Glenn returns. “Since he was a database coach HolyBut obviously, he was a player when I started in this league, so I have known Ag for a long time. I have a lot of respect for him as a man and as a coach. Easy to work with.

“We have communicated a pile over the years. Obviously, the last two years in Detroit, when he was the defensive coordinator, and we have traveled the way we will practice, what we want the tempo to be, the periods. I had a lot of respect for him, and the communication process was good.”
