The Falcons of Atlanta added a former choice among the first 10 to their list of 90 men on Thursday afternoon, signing the CJ Henderson corner half and renouncing the wounded offensive player Tyrone Wheatley Jr. The move one day comes before the team’s pre-season match against the Titans du Tennessee.
Henderson was initially selected by Jacksonville Jaguars with the ninth choice in total to the NFL 2020 draft. Less than two years after his career in the NFL, the first Gators from Florida Star was exchanged at the Carolina Panthers. Although he missed all the 2024 season due to a neck injury, Henderson brings a richness of experience to Atlanta.
