The Baltimore Ravens, Kyle Van Noy, is perhaps the oldest defense player, but as he has shown this season, he still has a lot of gas in the tank.
Van Noy, 34, was monster this season with a career summit of 12.5 bags, the most from the team and the fourth largest number of the League. He has now had 21.5 bags since his signature with the Ravens at the start of last season, showing that he took him personally when he was signed during the 2023 off -season.
One month before his 35th anniversary, Van Noy must make a difficult decision on If he wants to continue playing.
“We are still talking about it,” Van Noy told Baltimore Sun before the Super Bowl Lix. “I would like, but there are things that we still have to talk about.”
Van Noy has another year on his contract at a ceiling stroke of $ 6.1 million, and he could be a candidate for a short -term extension. Given its production in the past two years, it would be a well -deserved extension.
In the end, this will go to the own decision of Van Noy more than any contract is important.
“My need is still there, that’s for sure,” said Van Noy. “I can always play at a high level. But this is something where they also have to make a decision.”
At this stage of his career, Van Noy no longer has little to prove. He has already won two Super Bowls in his days with the New England Patriots, and he finally obtained his first selection of Pro Bowl this season, although as an alternative. According to almost all standards, he has forged a career of which he is proud.
If he still has the journey, however, there is no doubt that the Ravens would love to have their best pass-rusher for another tower.
