Although he does not remember much Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fans for his only season with the team, he was one of the most underestimated players in his position. Former Bucs Safety Keanu Neal announced his NFL retirement on Sunday.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media shared the message from Neal’s Social earlier during the day.
Neal was drafted by the rival of the Bucs division Falcons of Atlanta 17th in total in the draft of the 2016 NFL. He would do the All-Rookie team in 2016 and would be appointed to a pro Bowl in 2017 before leaving the Falcons for the stops with the Cowboys,, AceursAnd of course, the Bucs.
His only season in Tampa Bay arrived in 2022 and was the only year he played in 17 games in one season. He accumulated 63 plated, four shortcomings and an interception of this season as well.
Neal is now retiring in a career that saw him play football at all levels of Florida. The high school was contributed to Bushnell, Florida, before going to Gainesville to be Gator. It was a complete circle career that ended at the age of 29 for Neal.
