Jeremy Fowler of ESPN recently reported that a multitude of teams had expressed their interest in the receiver of San Francisco 49ers, Deebo Samuel. One thing is clear, the Pittsburgh steelers will have rigid competition for the double threat receiver.

“I just checked on this subject”, Fowler said on ESPN on Thursday NFL Live. “I was told that several teams had expressed their interest, therefore at least preliminary discussions on a potential trade occurred between Samuel, his agent and the team.”

Fowler noted that these discussions are probably just exploratory, the teams evaluated the situation. Similar to the situation With Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles.
